*Due to the expected number of competitors the reserved infield parking will be limited to have at least one kart per spot. This means when you are completing the entry form and you request more than one spot, you MUST have the name(s) listed for the other spots. At the moment we are reserving 75 infield parking spots. When you reserve a spot, your name will be on our list for guaranteed infield parking. To make parking more efficient the specific spot will be given in the order you enter the speedway.

Koala Bear Nationals $10,000 to Win Karting Event!!!
Track officials announced today one of the biggest and highest paying karting events in the Country. The 375lb Animal Class will headline the October 9th and 10th, Koala Bear Nationals, gunning for $10,000 to win. The Koala Bear Nationals will have almost $40,000 up for grabs during the weekend. Each day will see four separate money races, while the Animals will use both days to tame the “Big Bear”.
“We wanted to amp up the weekend… I think this should do it, said Dan Bainey. $10,000 to win and over $40,000 payout over two days is pretty big. Not many places in the country can pull off this type of an event, but talking with anybody who has been to or raced at the Central Pa. Speedway, they all have one thing in common… they love it; they talk about the speeds, the draft and how smooth the wide surface is. The best part of all is that it doesn’t matter who has the most money in their equipment. With the draft being so important, you have to drive and you have to know when to make your moves. The 80’s taught us “it ain’t over till its over” and that’s exactly true when the karts are on the track. It doesn’t matter if you are 20th with two to go, you really have a shot at winning. For 10 grand on the line, the last lap is going to be full blown crazy.
The Animals were chosen based on the responses we received from the racers. As far as the other classes, I have a pretty good idea what we are running, but again I want to put it in the racers hands. You tell me what you-the racer- want and that’s what we’ll do. We want to make sure that we give as many teams as possible a chance to race and win some money.”
